Dr. Kerry Gelb
Dr. Gelb received his Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY College at Oneonta in 1980. He graduated with honors in 1984 from the Illinois College of Optometry, and completed a one-year residency in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. Dr. Gelb has been practicing in New Jersey for the past 22 years. He is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the President of ALLDocs (the Association of LensCrafters Leaseholding Doctors).
Dr. Gelb has been interviewed on both radio and television on topics relating to ocular health. He frequently lectures on the diagnosis and treatment of macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetes. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the evaluation and fitting of specialty or "hard-to-fit" contact lenses. He is also certified in the evaluation and management of Corneal Refractive Therapy contact lenses. He is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. He currently resides in Union County with his wife and child.

Dr. Jeffrey Case
Dr. Jeffrey Case has been practicing therapeutic optometry at Contact Lens & Vision located at the Brunswick Square Mall and the Freehold Raceway Mall for over 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Alfred University in 1984. He also received a doctorate in optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1988. He completed his residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services in Iselin, New Jersey. He is a member of the American Optometric Association & New Jersey Optometric Association. In addition, Dr. Case is licensed to practice optometry in the states of Pennsylvania and New York.
Dr. Case currently resides in Morris County, New Jersey with his wife, Susan, also an optometric physician, and his three daughters.
Dr. Avanti Rajan
Dr. Avanti Rajan received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1998. She continued her education at the Michigan College of Optometry, where she graduated in 2002 with honors.
Dr. Rajan specializes in contact lenses, primary care optometry, geriatrics and disease management.
She is also certified in Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy and is a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association. She is also fluent in Marathi.
In her spare time Dr. Rajan enjoys traveling, reading, and playing tennis. She currently resides in Iselin, New Jersey with her husband, Dr. Samir Rajan and her two children.
Dr. Manoj Khanna
Dr. Khanna came to the US as an immigrant from India at age eleven. This is when he had his first eye exam ever. From that day forward he wanted to be an optometrist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from York College of Pennsylvania. He attended graduate school at Johns Hopkins and earned his doctoral degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the NJ Society of Optometric Physicians, American Optometric Association and Pennsylvania Optometric Association. Dr. Khanna is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. He is also able to perform eye exams in Spanish.
Dr. Khanna has a great sense of humor and you can always hear laughter coming from his exam room. The hallmark of his service is patient education. You’ll leave the exam being more informed not only about your ocular health but also, if needed, how you can improve your total health. This is his passion and he will gladly meet all of your family’s eye-care needs from contact lenses to ocular disease management.
Dr. Hardik Patel
Dr. Patel attended Rutgers University where he received his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences in 2009. He then decided to move to San Antonio, Texas in 2010 to begin his doctoral training at the Rosenberg School of Optometry where he received his doctoral degree in 2014.
His clinical internship included training in primary care optometry, contact lenses, vision therapy, pediatrics and low vision. Through his clinical externships at the Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth and Sharp Eye Consultants in San Antonio, Dr. Patel received immense experience in providing comprehensive eye care and specialized in diagnosis and management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and surgical co-management.
In his spare time, Dr. Patel likes exploring the tristate area, traveling, and playing sports. He currently resides in Middlesex County, New Jersey with his family.
Dr. Angela Hu
Dr. Hu graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Biological Sciences. She then earned her doctoral degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating cum laude in May 2016. While in optometry school, was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society.
She completed her externship rotations at the Brooklyn Veterans Hospital, the Illinois Eye Institute, Omni Eye Services in Iselin, NJ, and Southeast Eye Specialists in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Hu provides comprehensive eye exams including primary care optometry, fitting contact lenses, as well as post-operative and ocular disease management.
In her spare time, Dr. Hu enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
Dr. Heather Deeble
Dr. Heather Deeble received her Bachelors of Science degree from Moravian College in 2001. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University)
in 2005. Her extensive clinical training includes a variety of practice settings, providing patient care throughout New Jersey, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Florida. Dr. Deeble provides comprehensive eye care, which includes diagnosing and managing ocular disease. She also has an extensive background in fitting contact lenses, especially the "hard to fit" lenses.
She is currently a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, dining, and anything that will allow her spend more time outdoors. She currently resides in Union County, NJ with her husband and their 3 daughters.
Dr. Stefanie Hwang
Dr. Hwang graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2016. She is widely experienced in ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics, and binocular vision/vision therapy, having completed her clinical externships across the northeast. Dr. Hwang is noted for her thorough patient education and commitment to providing the highest quality of care. She is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, American Optometric Association, National Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, and Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Hwang also enjoys volunteering in the community. She has spent time in Haiti providing eye care to underserved populations and gives eye exams every summer to athletes at Special Olympics NJ held at The College of New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and fine arts minor in 2012. In her spare time, Dr. Hwang enjoys nature, photography and good food.
Dr. Komal Abbas
Dr. Abbas is a proud Rutgers alumni with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She obtained a Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and is a member of the American Optometric Association.
She specialized in primary care during her clinical rotations and has an extensive history of training in ocular disease, contact lens fittings, pediatrics, geriatrics, and surgical co-management. Dr. Abbas has done clinical externships at the Witlin Center for Advanced Eye Care and the Lyons Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System. She also received training as a civilian from the Naval Air Station in Florida, where she had to
co-manage the ocular health of pilots and crew to ensure that they met the requirements to operate aircraft established by the U.S. Navy. Dr. Abbas is well known for patient education and providing patients with a thorough and detailed evaluation of the patient’s condition.
With her roots in Central Jersey, she has established a presence in the local community as a joyful person with a great sense of humor and enjoys reading, hiking, trying new cuisines, and working out.
Dr. Yesha Gami
Dr. Gami attended Rutgers University where she received a BA in Biological Sciences. She graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2016. Dr. Gami then spent one year in North Carolina at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center completing a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease.
During her clinical externships, Dr. Gami did vision therapy with pediatric and brain injury patients in Fairfield CT, performed low vision exams for visually impaired veterans at the West Haven VA in CT, and had extensive exposure to ocular disease management at Omni Eye Services right here in central NJ.
She is excited to be a part of the NJ community and provide individuals and families with comprehensive eye care services. In her spare time, Dr. Gami enjoys painting, drawing, sewing, and is always searching for her next project!
Dr. Hirangi Patel
Dr. Patel received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Biological Science from the University of South Carolina in 2010. After being raised in the south most of her life, she decided to move to San Antonio, Texas in 2011 to begin her doctoral training. She received her doctoral degree at the Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2015. Dr. Patel then spent one year in St. Louis, Missouri at the John Cochran VA Medical Center completing her residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease.
During her residency training, Dr. Patel performed specialty contact lens fitstings with scleral and rigid gas- permeable lenses, low vision exams for visually-impaired veterans, and co-management care with corneal and retinal specialists at the VA in St. Louis. Dr. Patel provides patients with comprehensive eye care including primary care optometry, contact lens fits, and disease management.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, the outdoors, and most importantly, spending time with her family which is why she made the big move to the Northeast. Most of her family lives in this area.
